In line with government guidance, the play area at the recreation ground will be open again from Saturday 4th July.  We are really pleased to be able to open this up so that children can enjoy the equipment again!  To enjoy as safely as possible, please follow Public Health England’s guidance: –

  • Please bring your own hand sanitiser gel or wipes and use before and after playing on the equipment.
  • Try to stay 2 metres apart from those outside your own household where possible.
  • Only one family member to accompany a child.
  • Feel free to clean or wipe equipment before using.  Please do not bring caustic substances to the play area (such as bleach).
  • Please do not let small children put their mouths on any of the equipment.
  • Do not touch your face. Do cough or sneeze into a tissue or into your arm.
  • Please dispose of all litter including used PPE such as gloves or face masks, into the bins provided.
  • If there are lots of children already on the equipment, please wait before entering the play area to avoid over-crowding.
  • Do have fun!
  • Stay Alert, Control the Virus, Save Lives

Please note: the cable way and net traverse are awaiting repair and are therefore taped off with notices attached.  Please keep off this equipment.  Repairs have been delayed due to lock down and will take place week beginning 3rd August.

Thank you for your co-operation.
