Serious consideration was given as to whether the Parish Council could request that Cambridgeshire Highways add double yellow lines outside the School in Cheveley High Street and Park Road. This was following concerns from residents over dangerous parking during school time with the objective of making parking outside the school and the safety of children and adults a priority. It was decided that a representative from the Council would discuss the concerns with the school to determine what other measures could be taken first.

The Annual Standing Orders were reviewed with some minor changes made along with reviewing the Financial Regulations, subscriptions, direct debits and schedule of council meetings for the forthcoming year. A number of nominees had been submitted for the annual McCalmont Cup awarded for outstanding service to the local community and the Young Persons Award.
